In this project, I designed a full service emergency and maternity hospital in Ukwala, Kenya, a rural town with underserved medical needs. This project was designed with the climate and energy conditions of the area in consideration, and utilizes passive cooling techniques such as percolated walls and an open courtyard scheme.
